**The horde is here. Earth has one shield, and you have one finger.**
Siege is a 360° tap-triage planetary defense game. Enemies close on Earth from every bearing — your job is to decide which one dies first. Tap to lock and auto-fire; release your thumb to triage the next threat. Every run is a 100-level fight to the surface, punctuated by four bosses each with their own signature attacks.
Built mobile-first: portrait orientation, no swiping, no tilting, plays in any browser tab.

- **100 levels, 4 bosses** — Armada Strike, The Gatherer, Forward Command, Last Stand. Each with unique mechanics, intro stingers, and 3-phase escalation.
- **7 weapons + Mark II upgrades** — Pulse, Scattershot, Missile, Arc Bolt, Railgun, Nova Cannon, Plasma Storm. From shop visit 4, owned weapons can be upgraded into elite Mk II variants that shift their role.

- **13 mechanically-distinct boons** picked between sections — not just stat bumps. Ricochet chains kills to nearby enemies. Hot Barrel rewards focus-fire with stacking damage. Ghost Fire echoes 25% of your shots. Stormcaller fires a free chain every sixth tap. Artillery turns the planet itself into an alt-fire button. Each boon changes how the run plays.
- **Defensive arsenal** — interceptor drones, EMP charges, flak bursts. The drone price climbs with every purchase, so cheesing isn't free.
- **Three difficulties** chosen per-run, with separate personal bests tracked for each.
- **26 achievements** with progress bars, including persistent cross-run unlocks.
- **Atmospheric soundscape** — four ambient sections (Horizon → Approach → Siege → Last Stand) shift mood as the war escalates. Weighty weapon sounds. Sub-thump kill explosions.
- **Earn coins from wreckage** — tap the debris your kills leave behind, or buy auto-salvage and let it pull itself in.
- **Cloud leaderboard** — sign in with a username and 4-digit PIN to save your best across devices.

- Color-blind palette swaps red/green pairs to red/blue
- Large text option scales the HUD readouts
- Reduced motion disables camera shake, zoom transitions, and background drift
- Performance Mode bypasses heavy visual effects on weaker devices

### Controls
Tap an enemy to lock and auto-fire. Tap wreckage to collect coins. Tap the planet itself if you have the Artillery boon. Tap shop items to buy. That's the whole game.
### Tips
- Snipers stop and park — kill them first, before they fire
- Swarms melt to splash weapons (Missile, Nova Cannon)
- A clean level regenerates one shield charge
- Bosses telegraph their attacks — every signature move has a wind-up
- The HP bar shows tick marks at 33% (enrage) and 15% (desperate) — phase changes don't surprise you
- Shield down to 1? The world goes red. Move fast.
